The route includes hills and walking approximately 1.5km around downtown. The tour route is wheelchair accessible.

Masks are recommended for all guests while indoors. Service animals are welcome, but pets are not permitted on the tour.

Pre-registration is required. Due to the popularity of the Lantern Tours, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to other tour dates.

However, if you are feeling ill or have symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend. In this case, we will either do our best to transfer your tickets to another date (depending on availability), or arrange a refund.

The Nanaimo Museum is a non-profit society, and all ticket proceeds go directly back into funding for programs like this one. Thank you!
