The Bastion

Grade K-12

Bring your students on a tour of Nanaimo’s oldest building!  The Bastion has three floors of museum exhibits about the history of the Hudson’s Bay Company in Nanaimo. Guided tours are available seasonally. The Bastion is not wheelchair accessible.

  • 30 minute guided Bastion tour add-on module $25 (Grades K-12)
  • Length of program includes walking time from Museum to Bastion
  • Programs are available Tuesday to Friday, morning and afternoon sessions are available
  • Available September to October and March to June
