Plants of Nanaimo – launching July 2, 2021

Explore the plants of Nanaimo at the Nanaimo Museum!

From July 2 – September 6, participate in our summer program, “Plants of Nanaimo”.

Learn about western red cedar, bigleaf maple, and others with a museum educator, then search for plants hiding around the gallery! Before you leave, don’t forget to pick up a museum–developed plant identification guide that will help you get started on identifying plants around Nanaimo.

• Listen to a 5-minute presentation
• Participate in an I-Spy to find plants around the gallery
• Take a free plant identification guide

“Plants of Nanaimo” is suitable for all ages and is free with admission.
