Petroglyphs Homeschool Program

Grades: K-4 (Ages 5-9)

Students will discover Snunéymuxw rock art with engaging activities. Make petroglyph rubbings and see a real petroglyph, called the Hepburn Stone, on exhibit. They’ll find out about some of the animal, human, and mythical creature symbols that are found in the Snunéymuxw territory.

This program is suitable for children aged 5-9 and the cost is $5 per child. Pre-registration is required and caregivers must be present at all times. Please contact Steph Kveton at program@nanaimomuseum.ca or call 250-753-1821 to register.
