Join us on Sunday, November 17th from 11am-3pm for our 8th annual Members Shopping Event at the Nanaimo Museum Gift Shop! ❄️

This members-exclusive event is an excellent way to get your holiday shopping done and take advantage of some great once-a-year deals! The gift shop area will be open for shopping, the museum gallery will have complimentary snacks and refreshments, and the museum will be decked out in holiday cheer throughout!

Everything* in the Gift Shop will be 25% off and certain items up to 40% off. Our clearance table will also be marked down to 60%. Stay tuned to our Instagram and Facebook pages for more information on discounts!

Members and a plus-one are invited to join us, but if you have more friends who are keen on attending, they are welcome to accompany you after signing up for membership upon arrival! Please register below with the number of people in your group, to give us an idea of how many refreshments we need.

We will have a box out to collect new unwrapped toys, games & books for The Great Nanaimo Toy Drive if you’d like to bring something to donate. You are also welcome to explore the gallery, including our new feature exhibit A Seat at the Table: Chinese Immigration and British Columbia.

Shop local for Christmas and support your non-profit museum at the same time! Funds raised by the gift shop help support educational programming.

Not a member yet? Yearly memberships are only $12 for adults or $8 for students and seniors! Memberships can be purchased here on our website, over the phone (250-753-1821), and of course in person!

The Museum is located at 100 Museum Way, downtown Nanaimo, next to Serious Coffee on Commercial St. If you are feeling ill or have symptoms of a communicable illness, please do not attend.

Please indicate below how many people will be attending by selecting the amount of spaces you need. You are welcome to bring a plus-one, but additional guests coming with you will need their own membership (which can be purchased at the door). One ‘ticket’ = one RSVP! Thank you for registering to help us get an idea of numbers for refreshments.

The cut-off to register is Thursday, November 14th at midnight!
