Back by popular demand! The Brother XII presentation, led by curator Aimee Greenaway, explores the history of Edward Wilson and his rise and fall as Brother XII from a spiritual teacher to high-profile court cases, scandals and conspiracy theories. His followers’ stories, including Madame Zee and respected astrologer Coulson Turnbull, illuminate this dark chapter in Nanaimo’s history. Stories and photos provide insight into this infamous and controversial historical figure.

Cost: $10 per person

Age: 12+ recommended (mature content)

Duration: 60 minutes

Please arrive at the Museum approximately 15 minutes in advance of the start time to check-in. The Museum is located at 100 Museum Way, downtown Nanaimo, next to Serious Coffee on Commercial St. These presentations are subject to change dependent on Public Health Orders.
