VIRTUAL Snunéymuxw Traditional Life

Grade 3 – Online Program

Brand new!  Beginning November 3, 2020, you can book your class for one of our most popular programs in a virtual format!

The virtual version of Snunéymuxw Traditional Life connects your students with a live museum staff member for a 30-minute interactive program that will keep your students engaged and moving while learning about the tools used by the Snunéymuxw First Nation and other Coast Salish Nations to make canoes, longhouses, and blankets.  A combination of pictures, live close-ups of cultural belongings and video tours of the museum’s gallery create a varied and fast-paced virtual program.

  • 30-minute virtual program: $30 / class
  • Snunéymuxw Traditional Life meets provincial Social Studies curriculum for grade 3.
  • Virtual Snunéymuxw Traditional Life is available TuesdaysWednesdays, and Fridays starting November 3rd.

To book, contact Steph Kveton at or fill in the form at the bottom of the School Programs page. This program is delivered via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. If your class requires a different platform, please contact Steph.
