Refuge Canada

Between February 5th and May 8th 2020, Nanaimo Museum is offering a new program with our feature exhibit! In the Refuge Canada School Program, students will apply their historical thinking skills to answer the question, “Can I be proud of Canada’s response to refugees?” Your class will challenge their preconceptions about the acceptance of refugees in Canada through interactive group-work and explore the hard-hitting Refuge Canada feature exhibit.

This 90-minute in-museum program costs $60 per class, and can accommodate up to two classes together. Educators can book this program by contacting Steph Kveton, Program Coordinator.
