 $8/learner\n\nTime: 10:00-11:30am\n\nJoin other local home schoolers and d
 istance learners in this special session of West Coast First Nations Art. 
  \n\nCheck out the coastal First Nations art forms of petroglyph\, basket
  weaving and carving. Stories\, techniques and traditional artist preparat
 ion for creativity provide a context for traditional and contemporary art.
  Students will handle carvings from our education collection as part of a 
 guided study of animal symbolism in West Coast art. \n\nThis is a 90-min
 ute\, in-person program that takes place at Nanaimo Museum.\n\nThis prog
 ram is not suitable for anyone under the age of 10\, including spectating 
 siblings.   \n\nPre-registration is required. Caregivers must be present
  at all times. \n\nProof of vaccination is required for all learners and 
 caregivers aged 12 and up. Masks are required for all learners\, caregiver
 s and guests aged 5 and up. We highly recommend masks for younger guests\,
  as the Museum is a public and tourist attraction.  Hand hygiene will be 
 maintained by the learners\, caregivers\, guests\, and staff members throu
 ghout your visit.  \n\nIf you\, your learner\, or anyone in your househol
 d feel ill\, are subject to a public health order to self-isolate\, or are
  waiting for a COVID-19 test result\, please do not attend this program. 
 \n\nPublic Health Orders are changing frequently. Requirements and availab
 ility of in-person school visits are subject to change. We will be in touc
 h with registrants to update you as needed. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPre-registra
 tion is required. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable for oth
 er program dates\, except in specific cases:   \n\n 	If you\, your learn
 er\, or anyone in your household feel ill\, are subject to a public health
  order to self-isolate\, or are waiting for a COVID-19 test result\, pleas
 e do not attend this program. \n 	If fewer than 5 learners register\, thi
 s program will not proceed. In this case\, a refund will be issued. \n\nT
 he Nanaimo Museum is a non-profit society\, and all ticket proceeds go dir
 ectly back into funding for programs like this one. Thank you!  \n\nAlth
 ough online payment is made through PayPal\, a PayPal account is not requi
 red\, only a credit card or debit card. Please note that there will be no 
 physical ticket issued. Your spot in this program is confirmed once you 
 have the PayPal transaction confirmation. Registration can also be made ov
