VIRTUAL Snuneymuxw Traditional Life Homeschool and Distance Learning Session- Oct 21

The virtual version of Snuneymuxw Traditional Life connects learners with a live museum staff member for a 30-minute interactive program that will keep learners engaged and moving while learning about the tools used by the Snunéymuxw First Nation and other Coast Salish Nations to make canoes, longhouses, and blankets. A combination of pictures, live close-ups of cultural belongings and video tours of the museum’s gallery create a varied and fast-paced virtual program.

We recommend that an adult remain with their learner through the program.
Households will receive an emailed Zoom link shortly before the Chat date. This program is delivered via the Zoom video conferencing app. Use through your browser window or download the free app HERE.
We recommend that an adult remain with their learner during the Fireside Chat. This session does not require the use of a webcam, but does use the Zoom video conferencing platform. The program may include polls, physical movement, and answering inquiry questions through the chat function.
