Explore the murky, misty world of the Strait of Georgia this Spring Break at Nanaimo Museum. In Kids’ Case Files: Searching for Caddy children & youth aged 5-15 can put on their galoshes and get out their binoculars on the search for the local sea serpent of dubious reality: Cadborosaurus! Available Monday – Saturday, March 16-March 28, 10-5 pm, the activities are designed for children and youth to participate in along with their parents, grandparents, or caregivers.
Ages 5+: Kids’ Case Files: Searching for Caddy
Kids’ Case Files: Searching for Caddy is a fun scavenger hunt challenge for children and adults alike! Explore the gallery on the lookout for clues about the elusive, mysterious sea serpent known as Cadborosaurus! Can you see his fins rippling out of the water with binoculars? Is he actually a seal, an eel, or a fish? Just how long is Caddy, anyways? Answers to all of this and more this spring break at Nanaimo Museum!
Details for families:
Kids’ Case Files: Searching for Caddy is available from 10-5pm, Monday to Saturday through Spring Break, March 16-March 28. Activities are self-guided and available on a drop-in basis. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and adults are encouraged to participate with their young visitors. Activities are included with admission and take approximeately 45 minutes to complete.
