 !\nThis Sunday\, June 21st from 12:00pm-4:00pm\, we invite everyone to com
 e to the museum to celebrate! In addition to the permanent exhibits about 
 Snuneymuxw culture\, there will be self-guided children’s activities\, i
 ncluding a matching game about hul’q’um’inum' animal names\, yarn fr
 iendship bracelet weaving\, and an I Spy that highlights the stories of In
 digenous people and cultural belongings.\nFrom 2:00pm-5:00pm at Maffeo Sut
 ton Park there will be the annual National Indigenous Peoples' Day celebra
 tions hosted by the Mid Island Metis Nation - entertainment\, food\, and v
 endors! Their social media handle is @MidIslandMetisNation\n\nJune 16-21\,
  2026\nIn recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day Nanaimo Museum is
  donating proceeds from admissions between June 16th and 21st to local org
 anization Kw’umut Lelum Foundation. We encourage you to learn more about
