 4:30pm\n\nThe Mid-Island Métis Nation and the Nanaimo Museum invite you t
 o join us for the opening of a special exhibition at the museum to honour
  and celebrate Métis heritage in Nanaimo.\n\nSee the newly redesigned HBC
  era permanent exhibit as well as a temporary display case arranged by MIM
 N\, featuring significant Métis cultural pieces and historic artifacts. S
 tay and enjoy the festivities including fiddle music\, finger-weaving\, a 
 history presentation\, genealogy\, information tables &amp\; displays\, an
 d jigging! Light refreshments will be served\, including bannock with sask
 atoon berry jam.\n\nThe formal program will begin at 1:00pm and the activi
 ties will run until 4:30pm. Hope to see you there!
