 ation and the Nanaimo Museum invite you to join us to kick off the city's 
 Métis Awareness Week (Nov 13-19) with a celebration of Métis heritage in
  Nanaimo!\n\nSee the redesigned HBC era permanent exhibit and hear live st
 orytelling in the classroom. Enjoy the festivities including fiddle music\
 , beading\, history information\, genealogy\, information tables &amp\; di
 splays\, a reading corner and more! Light refreshments will be served\, in
 cluding bannock with saskatoon berry jam.\n\nThe formal program will begin
  at 1:00pm and the activities will run until 4:00pm. Hope to see you there
