Join us on Sunday, November 19th from 11am-3pm for our 7th annual Members Shopping Event at the Nanaimo Museum Gift Shop! ❄️

This members-exclusive event is an excellent way to get your holiday shopping done and take advantage of some great once-a-year deals! The gift shop area will be open for shopping, the museum gallery will have complimentary snacks and refreshments, and the feature gallery area will be decked out in holiday cheer (including a tree)!

Everything* in the Gift Shop will be 25% off and flash sales offering further reductions will be announced on the day. Our clearance table will also be marked down to 60%. Stay tuned to our Instagram and Facebook pages for information on more discounts to come!

Members and a plus-one are invited to join us, but if you have more friends who are keen on attending, they are welcome to accompany you after signing up for membership upon arrival! Please register below with the number of people in your group, to give us an idea of how many refreshments we need.

We will have a box out to collect toys, games & books for The Great Nanaimo Toy Drive if you’d like to bring something to donate. This is also the last day to view stem ’al̓u ’u’ ni x̌e’x̌e “What is Sacred” our Coast Salish Art feature exhibit curated by Eliot White-Hill, Kwulasultun (Snuneymuxw).

Shop local for Christmas and support your non-profit Museum at the same time! Funds raised by the Gift Shop help support educational programming. ?

Not a member yet? Yearly memberships are only $12 for adults or $8 for students and seniors! Memberships can be purchased here on our website, over the phone (250-753-1821) and of course in person!

This event is subject to change dependent on Public Health Orders, but we will be sure to notify everyone if there are any changes. The Museum is located at 100 Museum Way, downtown Nanaimo, next to Serious Coffee on Commercial St. If you are feeling ill or have symptoms of a communicable illness, please do not attend.

Please indicate below how many people will be attending by selecting the amount of spaces you need. You are welcome to bring a plus-one, but additional guests coming with you will need their own membership (which can be purchased at the door). One ‘ticket’ = one RSVP! Thank you for registering to help us get an idea of numbers for refreshments.

The cut-off to register is Thursday, November 16th at midnight!
