Family Weekend activities: Feb. 16 and 17 

Begin your Family Day weekend with some hands-on fun at the Nanaimo Museum! On Friday, February 16 and Saturday, February 17, bring the gang over to play a hul’q’umi’num’ matching game, take a lantern-lit walk through the darkened coal mine, and get a closer look (and touch!) at some coal mining tools and artifacts. Along the way, watch out for our I Spy Hogs n Hearts, and cozy up in the reading nook.  

All activities are included with admission by donation and are available 10:00am – 4:00pm on February 16 and 17.

Note: the Nanaimo Museum is closed Sunday, February 18 and Monday, February 19.
