 Who were Brother XII's followers?\n\nThe Brother XII's Followers presentat
 ion\, led by curator Aimee Greenaway\, explores the stories behind the peo
 ple who supported one of the most infamous cult leaders in Canadian histor
 y\, including what happened to them after the colony collapsed. From stori
 es of a family deeply rooted in cults and a wealthy American heiress to ne
 w stories revealed in a 1931 census. Brother XII's rapid rise and fall int
 o high-profile court cases\, scandals and conspiracy theories will be touc
 hed upon to shed light on his followers' experiences. Stories and photos p
 rovide insight into this infamous and controversial chapter in Nanaimo's h
 istory.\n\nCost: $10 per person\n\nAge: 12+ recommended (mature content)\n
 \nDuration: 60 minutes\n\nThis presentation takes place in person at 6:30-
 7:30pm at Nanaimo Museum\n\nPlease arrive at the Museum approximately 15 m
 inutes in advance of start time to check in. The Museum is located at 100 
 Museum Way\, downtown Nanaimo\, next to Serious Coffee on Commercial St.\n
 \nPre-registration is required. Due to popularity of Brother XII Presentat
 ions\, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to other presentati
 on dates. \n\nHowever\, If you are feeling ill or have flu- like symptoms
 \, please do not attend.  In this case\, we will either do our best to t
 ransfer your tickets to another date (depending on availability)\, or arra
 nge a refund.\n\nThe Nanaimo Museum is a non-profit society\, and all tick
 et proceeds go directly back into funding for programs like this one. Than
