 our)\nCelebrate Asian Heritage Month with Vancouver Island Bhangra and the
  Nanaimo Museum!\nJoin us for a high-energy Bhangra Saap &amp\; Khunda Wo
 rkshop led by Sukhi Sangha of Vancouver Island Bhangra. Presented in partn
 ership with the Nanaimo Museum\, this vibrant workshop is a fun and engagi
 ng way to celebrate Asian Heritage Month through dance\, music\, and cultu
 re. This event is open to everyone!\n\nExplore the rhythms and roots of B
 hangra\, a traditional folk dance from Punjab. You’ll learn foundational
  Bhangra steps and how to dance with two iconic props:\n\n 	Saap: a rhyth
 mic\, folding wooden instrument that adds percussive energy and visual fla
 ir.\n 	Khunda: a long\, decorative bamboo stick skillfully spun and maneu
 vered for dramatic effect.\n\nWhether you're new to Bhangra or have dance 
 experience\, this workshop welcomes all skill levels and offers a joyful\,
  culturally rich experience.\nOpen to ages 13 and up. Space is limited –
  don’t miss your chance to dance\, learn\, and celebrate together!\nTick
 ets cost $25/person\, and pre-registration is required. Tickets are non-re
 fundable and non-transferable to other dates or programs. A minimum of 4 i
 s required for this program to proceed.\nPLEASE NOTE: Although online paym
 ent is made through PayPal\, a PayPal account is not required\, only a cre
 dit card or debit card. Please note that no physical ticket will be issued
