Overnight fun at the Nanaimo Museum for children and youth groups!
Children will get the chance to sleep amongst a collection of 1000 year old artifacts in the museum gallery, take a tour of the miner’s cottage, explore the Bastion at night, and participate in a variety of fun (and educational) history-related activities.
Sleepover itinerary and activities can be customized to accommodate the needs of different age groups. The activities can also be personalized to meet specific Girl Guides of Canada and Scouts Canada badge requirements.
Dinner, snack and breakfast are included in the cost of $50 per child (menu can be adapted to accommodate most allergies and dietary needs).
Supervising adults are free (one supervising adult per five children) and additional adults are $50 each. A Nanaimo Museum staff member will remain on site overnight.
Sleepovers are available on Friday nights only, and are not available during the month of December.
Night at the Nanaimo Museum crests are available to sleepover groups to purchase at $2.50 per crest.
