Criteria     Application

The Initiative to
immortalize the legacies from Nanaimo's sports community was launched in 2008 and recognizes achievement in five categories - Athlete, Builder, Media, Pioneer, and Team. It is located in the Museum lobby and is free for all to see.

A total of eight new inductees were honoured at the Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in the Vancouver Island Conference Centre on Saturday, September 19, 2009.
