The Snunéymuxw exhibit
is your gateway to an interactive journey of discovery. See what daily life was like in a traditional longhouse and gain knowledge of the curious objects used in everyday living, including textiles, basketry, trade items, and tools used for fishing by the early Snunéymuxw First Nation.

Three unique interactive features will help to further your understanding of this fascinating culture. A virtual museum kiosk developed with the Virtual Museum of Canada and the Snunéymuxw will expand on the interesting community, language, and objects; Discovery backpacks will tansform a child into an adventurer through exercises and puzzles that will take them on a unique journey; and lastly, the petroglyph workstation allows you to create etchings of local petroglyphs.
