Date/Time
Date(s) - 04/07/2018 - 29/08/2018
1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Tying in with the feature exhibit, A Call for Justice: Japanese Canadian Redress 1977-1988, Poetry and Protests highlights some important pieces of Japanese Canadian heritage and history through kids activities. Children can make a Sakura cherry blossom craft, put together a haiku poem, and create a protest sign about the change they’d like to see in the world.

Poetry and Protests runs Wednesdays, 1:30-3:30.

Activities are designed for ages 5-15. Caregivers must remain on site for the duration of the activity. Programs are included with admission, no pre-registration required.

For day camps and group bookings, please email Steph Kveton at program@nanaimomuseum.ca.
