Pioneer Cemetery Tour – July 24, 2019

Discover the stories buried in BC’s third oldest cemetery. Nanaimo’s original cemetery dates back to the 1850s and is now a public park. Stories of families, sailors and a casualty of the Crimean War in Russia paint a picture of life in Nanaimo over 160 years ago.
This tour is scheduled for 10:00am on July 24th and will last 1 hour.
Tickets cost $10 and pre-registration is required. Meet at Pioneer Cemetery Park, 10 Wallace Street, approximately 15 minutes prior to the tour start.

This tour occurs outside, rain or shine. Please dress accordingly. A minimum of 10 registrants is required for this tour to proceed.
The Pioneer Cemetery tour is part of the new Lantern Tour Series. New tours will be scheduled through summer and fall 2019.
Tickets are final sale, and non-transferable to other tour dates.
