Participants will learn traditional knowledge about Coast Salish drums and drum making from Jorge Two Eagles Lewis before making their own 12″ drum in this two hour session.
Jorge Two Eagles Lewis
Jorge is from the Snuneymuxw First Nation in Nanaimo,BC and is a descendant of powerful Shamans, mask dancers and chiefs. Since the year 2000 Jorge has been sharing the art of making drums Individual/group workshops and selling Drums all around the world. Jorge prepares all hides from scratch to drum patterns and shares the history and teachings shared with him before he made his first drum. He now lives in Campbell River.

$160 per person. Registration closes July 14th. Ticket price includes all materials and admission to the museum. This session is limited to 20 participants maximum.
